Driving Far
Some say you drive for show, but putt for dough. Some
don't give a crap as long as they can whack the ball as far as
humanly possible. Since time began, man has taken a stick and
tried to hit a rock as far as possible. Of course, you already
know what game came of this: baseball.
|
But, after baseball was invented man
still wanted to hit a rock with a stick as far as he could
to the point where he could no longer see the rock in the
air and lose it on the horizon.
|
Golf was then invented and driving far was the first concern
of Neanderthal man.
Those who cannot drive the ball far, pooh pooh long drives as
barbaric and not necessary. But, do you hear the pros talking
this way? No. The simple reason is that driving far is advantageous,
whether you want to hit over water, take a shortcut on a dogleg
or plain just outdistance your competition.
Chances are that you're not getting the best out of your swing
or your clubs to hit the longest drives possible. If you've ever
handed your clubs over to another similar player who can outdistance
you with your own clubs, this can be a very frustrating experience
indeed.
So, the point is that you may need a training aid or two to assist
you in driving the ball farther and straighter than your currently
able to do.
Check out the Driving Far Golf Training Aids listed below to
help you outdrive your competition today.
